Citizenship
According to the Railway Recruitment Board’s RRB ALP notification 2025 PDF, a candidate must fulfil one of the following criteria:
(a) an individual possessing Indian citizenship, or
(b) a citizen of Nepal, or
(c) an individual from Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the goal of establishing permanent residence in India, or
(e) an individual of Indian descent who has emigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the purpose of establishing permanent residence in India.
