The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRB Technician Selection Process 2025 to recruit skilled technicians across various zones of Indian Railways. The process consists of three key stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Fitness Test
Candidates must successfully pass all three stages to receive a final appointment.
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The CBT is the first screening stage. It tests candidates’ knowledge in technical and general subjects.
CBT Highlights
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd for each incorrect answer
- No sectional cutoff; overall score matters

Stage 2: Document Verification (DV)
Candidates who pass the CBT proceed to the DV round. Original documents must be presented to confirm identity, qualifications, and eligibility.

Only candidates who clear this final test are considered for appointment.
