The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced 506 vacancies for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon/Additional Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts. Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the OPSC VAS 2025 exam, candidates must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Possess a Registration Certificate under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970 (Section 21).
- Have valid conversion certificates recognized by the Veterinary Council of India if the degree is from a foreign university.

As of January 1, 2025, candidates must fall within the following age range:
