The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially revised the RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 exam dates, which will now be held from August 7 to September 9, 2025. The examination for Undergraduate (UG) level posts will be conducted in three shifts per day.

Candidates appearing for the RRB NTPC exam must strictly follow the shift timings, reporting rules, and exam day instructions mentioned on their admit card to avoid disqualification.

RRB NTPC Shift Timings 2025

Candidates are required to report at the centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. The exam will be conducted in three shifts each day, and late entry will not be allowed.

Important RRB NTPC Exam Day Guidelines

The Railway Recruitment Board has issued detailed exam day instructions to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exam. Candidates must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Banned Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, pagers, metallic items (belts, bangles, bracelets), books, or any paper are strictly prohibited.
  • Pen and Stationery: Candidates must not bring pens or pencils. All required stationery will be provided at the center.
  • Biometric Verification: Biometric verification (Left Thumb Impression), photograph capture, and signature matching will be conducted. No extra time will be allotted for this.
  • No Henna or Mehendi: Candidates must avoid applying henna or mehendi as it may hinder biometric verification.
  • Rough Sheets: Rough sheets will be provided. Candidates must write their name and roll number on them and return them after the test.
  • ID Proof: Carry one original valid photo ID proof along with the admit card. Photocopies or digital copies will not be accepted.
  • Gate Closing Rule: No candidate will be allowed entry after the gate closes. Check your admit card carefully for the specific gate closing time.
  • Language of Question Paper: The question paper will be available in the language selected during the application process along with English.
  • Test Center Visit: It is advisable to visit the center a day before the exam to avoid confusion or delay on the day of the test.
